Marvel Wordle

Six guesses. Five letters. A puzzle straight out of the Marvel universe.

Marvel Wordle is a word puzzle for Marvel fans. The rules are the classic Wordle rules — guess a hidden 5-letter word in six tries, with colour-coded clues after each guess — but every answer comes from Marvel: heroes and villains like STARK, WANDA, GROOT, STORM, VENOM and LOGAN, plus the powers and tech that run through the comics and the MCU — HYDRA, GAMMA, SERUM, ARMOR, the Infinity STONE and the SPACE behind it all.

It is free, runs in your browser, and needs no account. The word bank holds more than 40 five-letter Marvel answers, so you can drop in for one quick round or run endless puzzles back to back.

Marvel words in the bank

STARK

Tony Stark / Iron Man — an easy MCU name to warm up on.

GROOT

The Guardians of the Galaxy favourite; watch the double O.

STORM

Ororo Munroe of the X-Men, and a strong opening word too.

HYDRA

The villainous organisation, from "Powers, Stones & Tech".

SERUM

The super-soldier serum that created Captain America.

GAMMA

The radiation behind the Hulk — double M to spot.

Why Marvel fans love this Wordle

Regular Wordle uses ordinary English words. Here the vocabulary is the hook: every solved puzzle is a small Marvel deep cut, from the Avengers to the X-Men to the Guardians. If you can name a Maximoff and a Rasputin you already have an edge.

The bank covers a wide difficulty range. Easy answers are MCU household names like STARK, GROOT and WANDA; mid-tier answers pull in comics regulars like STORM, BLADE and CABLE; and the deeper cuts — PIOTR, OKOYE, NAMOR — are there to test real fans. It mixes MCU faces with classic comics names, so Avengers, X-Men, and Guardians are all in scope.

Themed packs narrow the answer pool: "Heroes & Villains" for the people, and "Powers, Stones & Tech" for the stones, the serum, the armor, and HYDRA.

How to play Marvel Wordle

Type any 5-letter word and press Enter. Each tile changes colour: green means the letter is correct and in place, yellow means it is in the word somewhere else, and grey means it is not in the word at all.

Use that feedback over your six guesses to narrow the answer. In endless mode you can play as many puzzles as you want; in a themed pack the answer is limited to that category, so you can lean on what you know about Marvel heroes, villains, and tech.

Solve in fewer guesses and less time to score higher and climb the leaderboard. Lose, and the answer is revealed so you can learn it for next time.

Tips for solving the Marvel Wordle

Open with common letters

Marvel names lean on S, T, A and R — STARK, STORM, BEAST. A first guess that covers those plus a couple of vowels (try STONE, ALIEN or POWER) tells you a lot before you commit to a name.

Think in categories

If green and yellow tiles look like a name, run through the rosters: Avengers, X-Men, Guardians, street-level heroes. If they look like a blunt common word, think powers, stones, or tech.

Mind the doubled letters

Some answers double up: GROOT, POTTS, HAPPY, FOGGY, CLAWS. If a letter comes back yellow and you have spare guesses, try it in two spots.
